Next Match

The National Team of Georgia U21 will play the last friendly match in Riga, before the beginning of the Qualifying Round.

The team coached by Aleksandre Chivadze will travel to Riga to face the hosts – Latvia U21 – as the last preparation match before they begin the official UEFA EURO 2005 to be played in Czech Republic.

Georgia shares the Group 3 with Netherlands, Slovakia, Scotland and Luxembourg. The calendar matches have already started; Luxembourg played two games – against Slovakia and Scotland – and lost both 1-7 and 0-3.

Due to injuries two usual players of the list are going to miss the game, the midfielder Jambul Jigauri (Chikhura Sachkhere) and the forward Lasha Dvali (Skonto Riga, Latvia).

For this match, to be played on 14th August, the former Georgian defender called up the next players:

Midfielders: Besik Dekanoidze (Chikhura Sachkhere), Georgi Iluridze (Dila Gori), Georgi Chanturia (Vitesse Arnhem, Netherlands), Valeri Kazaishvili (Vitesse Arnhem, Netherlands), Merab Gigauri (Torpedo Kutaisi), Lasha Parunashvili (Sioni Bolnisi), Georgi Papava (Dinamo Tbilisi), David Ubilava (Torpedo Kutaisi).
