Georgian U21 National Team wins and convinces for their upcoming qualification round.

The National Team U21 of Georgia, coached by the former historic defender Aleksandre Chivadze, achieved to win the friendly match in Riga by 0-4. All goals were scored in the first half, which gave the Georgians the opportunity to make some experiments in the last 45 minutes.

Despite the result, some defensive mistakes called the attention of the match. The Latvian side wasn’t polished in the definition. About the offensive part of the young Crusaders, they looked quite aggressive and even had three clear chances to increase the difference in the final score.

The first goal was scored by Valeri Kazaishvili at the 4th minute after an amazing long rate right shoot outside of the area into the right corner of the Latvian goalkeeper, straight after the locker room strategic pass from the corner kick.

At the 14th minute a free kick shoot found the tall central defender from Dila Gori, Mamuka Kobakhidze, who just headed the ball into the net. Two minutes later the Georgian goalkeeper was showcased after an outstanding jump to stop the direct free kick shoot.

At the 26th minute Chanturia played one on one against Latvian goalkeeper, who won and covered the shoot, but the rebound went directly to David Skhirtladze, who spooned the ball over the head of everybody to make things 0-3.

The last goal came at the 36th minute, again Valeri Kazaishvili was found into the area and running fast in diagonal went thru the goalkeeper and defined to make the final 0-4 for Chivadze’s team.

The National Team U21 shares the Group 3 of the Euro Qualifications, with Scotland, Netherlands, Slovakia and Luxembourg. And the first official match of the Crusaders is going to be the next 5th September away against Luxembourg.
